Drum Grab

Drum Grabs are an essential forklift truck attachment for any workplace that contains drums or barrels. Drum grabs enable quick and easy positioning of drums and are ideal for low to medium volume movement around the factory or store. All our drum handlers are fully automatic in operation. Our range of drum grabs offers a model to suit most types and sizes of drums, bespoke units can be supplied on request.

All our Drum Handlers are CE Marked and Fully Certified.

Drum Grab - Fork Mounted

The "entry level" drum grab designed solely for handling steel drums with rolling hoops. Models available for 210/220 (45 Gallon) or 110 (20/25 Gallon) sizes. The Standard models have a capacity of 500Kg per Drum. Optional Big Pocket models are available on the basic drum grabs to suit oversized forks. A heavy duty version designed for handling drums with high mass to volume ratios, such as powders and metals is also available. Fitted to the forklift truck via fork pockets and screw clamps.

Drum Grab - Universal

This easy to use drum handler has a simple two position adjustment to allow handling of 210 litre steel drums with rolling hoops or 210/220 'L' or 'XL' ring plastic drums. Fitted to the forktruck via fork pockets and screw clamps.

Drum Grab - Mauser

This drum handler has been designed for use with 210 litre mauser open top and tight head egg shaped plastic drums. The special curved arms close automatically around the base of the drum gripping it tightly during transportation. Fitted to the forktruck via fork pockets and screw clamps.

Drum Grab - Auto Grip

This heavy duty drum grip has bonded rubber attached to each jaw to ensure a firm grip is kept on the drum without marking it. The jaws can be adjusted manually to fit varying drums or cylinders. The opening range is 457mm to 710mm diameter. Fitted to the forktruck via fork pockets and security chain.

Drum Grab - Raised

This drum handler allows the handling of both 210 litre steel and 'L' or 'XL' Ring plastic drums. The arms on this drum grab have been raised by 350mm to give improved visibility and increased lift height. The simple to use slide adjustment allows switching between both types of drum easily and quickly. Fitted to the forktruck via fork pockets and screw clamps.

Drum Grab - Stainless Steel

This drum handler is identical to the basic model but is manufactured completely from grade 304 Stainless steel. Designed solely for handling 210 litre steel drums with rolling hoops. Fitted to the forktruck via fork pockets and screw clamps.

Drum Grab - Carriage Mounted

This drum handler has been specifically designed for forklift trucks that are dedicated to drum handling. It fits directly on to the carriage of the forklift truck replacing the forks. This can also be suitable for applications where room to turn the truck is restricted. Designed to handle 210/220 litre (45 gallon) steel drums with rolling hoops.
